GGD guidelines for piercings:
- Clients getting a piercing, other than in the earlobe, must be at least 12 years old.
- Clients receiving an earlobe piercing must be accompanied by their legal guardian during the procedure.
- Clients between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by their legal guardian when getting a piercing.
- Clients between 12 and 16 years old are not eligible for genital piercings, even if accompanied by their legal guardian.
- Girls between 12 and 16 years old are not eligible for nipple piercings, even if accompanied by their legal guardian.
- For clients under the age of 16, the consent form must be completed and signed by the legal guardian. The legal guardian must provide valid identification, and the ID number must be recorded on the consent form.
- We do not treat clients who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
GGD guidelines for a tattoo:
- Clients getting a tattoo must be at least 12 years old.
- Clients between the ages of 12 and 16 must be accompanied by their legal guardian during the procedure.
- Clients between 12 and 16 years old are not eligible for tattoos on the head, neck, wrists, or hands, even if accompanied by their legal guardian.
- For clients under the age of 16, the consent form must be completed and signed by the legal guardian. The legal guardian must provide valid identification, and the ID number must be recorded on the consent form.
